Did you know that you don't need to travel far up north in order to find decent
skiing in Sweden? In fact, not more than 2.5 hours drive from Stockholm
south airport (Nykoeping) or five hours drive from Copenhagen, lies
Asbybacken, a well organised, friendly and safe facility for both skiiers and
snowboarders.

We describe Asbybacken as the family's choice, not only because we offer
nice prices, but also because the service and cafeteria section lies directly at
the foot of the hill. We also keep fires burning outdoors for grilling or just for
warmth. Children under 7 years who wear a helmet need no ski pass, they
ride for FREE!

Asbybacken offers two lifts. One 'button lift' that enables beginners or children
to chose their own exit point, and one T-bar that takes you to the top. As
shown in the picture, there are three pistes in Asby, one specially dedicated
for snowboarders with big jump and slides. The longest run is 425 m.

As from last year our service building stands ready. There we offer a cafeteria,
where you can buy sandwiches or hotdogs, a relaxation area where you can
heat you own food in micros, and a service section with showers and toilets.
An area for campers is also avaliable, and two 'chaléts' for rental are currently
under construction.
